EcoCharge Program
To date, EcoCharge is the third-largest network of fast charging stations in Eastern Canada, with over 102 active charging ports and an additional 80 under construction, set to be available by 2025. The stations are installed in the parking lots of 51 IGA supermarkets in Quebec and New Brunswick (49 in Quebec and 2 in New Brunswick). Users can recharge their electric vehicles in just 20 minutes, making it convenient to do their grocery shopping during daily trips or to take a break during longer outings.
EcoCharge Program stations are compatible with all electric car models and will charge your car in only 20 minutes—just enough time get your groceries! We are proud to bring you this additional service that is quick and user-friendly.

The RechargÉco network is managed by Papillons Infrastructure Nature, a company founded in October 2023 following the launch of the RechargÉco project, developed in collaboration with the Sobeys supermarket chain, IGA merchants, and the Éco IGA Fund. Papillons oversees the development, deployment, operation, and promotion of the network. Its mission is to build sustainable and community-driven electric mobility by connecting communities through positively impactful charging infrastructure.
The Dons du 22: A Unique Community Initiative
Beyond electric mobility, IGA merchants and RechargÉco are actively committed to supporting their local communities. On the 22nd of every month, all revenue generated by RechargÉco charging stations is donated to local charitable organizations selected by IGA merchants in the regions where the stations are installed.
This initiative, called Dons du 22, aims to make every charging session a tangible act of solidarity.
